The terrain on this trip includes a mix of paved and cobblestone streets in Avignon, Gordes, Aix-en-Provence, Roussillon and other villages, as well as well-maintained countryside, vineyard, olive, lavender and shepherds’ paths of compressed dirt and stone. The footpaths offer a selection of level, rolling and hilly terrain with some elevation gain and loss.

Your Provence walking adventure spans Avignon’s Palais des Papes, the artists’ streets of Aix, the hill towns of Gordes, Roussillon, and Bonnieux, market days in Saint-Rémy and Les Baux, plus tastings in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With monthly departures from April through November, we offer curated walks to explore the best of Provence on each trip.
