Monkeys? Check. Pirates? Check. Whitewater rafting? Check. Zipline? Oh, yeah. Panama has it all! We all know someone who’s cruised the Canal, but wait until you see what they missed. It’s a perfect ecotourism destination, easy to get to without wearing the family out. And once you’re there? We’ll walk with the wildlife. (Howler monkeys, anyone?) And we’ll go treasure hunting for the resplendent quetzal—the crazy beautiful bird that’s virtually impossible to spot anywhere else. In between, we’ll take a shower under a waterfall…visit the village of a native tribe…and walk on the gentle lower slopes of a volcano. Our local guides will join you so you adults can take off for a spa treatment or shopping.
