  • “It’s a great day to be a Kiwi!”

We couldn’t agree more with New Zealand All Blacks captain Richie McCaw.

Congratulations to New Zealand for their 8-7 win over France in the Rugby World Cup.

We’re envious of the Classic Journeys’ guests on our New Zealand walking adventure right now who get to share in the national celebrations that have been two decades in the making.

New Zealand is a land of wonderful contrasts. The sheep outnumber the residents 47:4 million. You can experience four seasons of weather in a single day. It boasts the “most English city outside of England”, the world’s smallest dolphins and the adventure capital of the world. To fuel you for the adventure, it has some of the most acclaimed wine and cuisine a foodie could ever crave.

Classic Journeys has been introducing travelers to New Zealand for over a decade. Our New Zealand walking tour showcases the south island with 9 well-paced days that lead to a high country sheep station, Fox Glacier set in a rain forest and the exclamation mark of Milford Sound.
