The climate of Vietnam varies considerably from North to South. North Vietnam has four distinct seasons. Summer is from May to August, with very warm weather and occasional heavy rains. It is warmer and often overcast and damp.
South Vietnam is hot and humid. The wet season is from May to November. During the wet season there are brief downpours that provide relief from the heat. The dry season is from December to April. Temperatures in the south vary little from month to month.
Cambodia’s temperatures vary little year round.
