Our goal is always to find the most interesting and memorable lodging a region offers. Here’s one of our favorites from this itinerary. The Alpenrose Hotel is a classic Swiss chalet in an incredible setting, boasting a private spa, gourmet cuisine and welcoming guest rooms. A member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux collection, it’s the family home of Michael and Carole von Siebenthal, the third generation of this renowned family to welcome guests to the Gstaad valley and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau peaks.
