Our friends Conny and Hein are living the dream in Provence. They take walks in the thyme-scented
countryside, come home from the market under the weight of mesh bags filled with amazing produce, and pour an extra splash of wine to prolong an evening on the terrace. Renovations of their 18th century château are complete and it is our home for the week. Among four cooking instructions over the week, you’ll get tips in Conny’s lovely kitchen and from a local chef and cookbook author who offers her secrets to provençal cookingmeet the farmers and artisans for whom the area is justifiably famoustime various visits to coincide with market days…and a private wine-tasting at one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s fine vineyards. Most of all, you’ll get a very personal taste of life in the sunny, storied south of France.
