Our five favorite Adriatic vacations

Dear Fellow Traveler,
Why do we have such a thing for the Adriatic? The mellow climate, for one. Strolling seaside in Montenegro under a rustle of palm fronds is some kind of heaven. We’re suckers for sunny Croatian and Apulian villages too, all red tile and golden stone. It’s as if Adriatic breezes make time stand still. These regions are all authentic, cordial and unexpected. Can you think of a better description of a great vacation?

Apulia - Italy's Rustic South Three unique walking tours in Croatia Be the first to travel to Montenegro
APULIA: ITALY’S ITALY
When Italians want to remember how Italy used to be, they head to rustic Apulia. It’s an amazing experience packed with breathtaking walks, Baroque cities, herds of sheep, gnarled olive groves, gorgeous inns and food like you’ve never eaten before!

IMMERSED IN CROATIA
Every time we go, we swear we’ll never leave. Our Croatian tours are three of our personal favorites. Look at the Dalmatian Coast, the Istrian Peninsula or our Croatian Family Journey. You’ve never felt so at home in a place that’s so off the beaten track.

BE FIRST TO MONTENEGRO
Almost no one you know has been to Montenegro. And that’s good for you! Before everyone else, you’ll luxuriate in chic seaside resorts, meet the grappa makers and shepherds, cruise a dramatic sub-tropical fjord, and earn major bragging rights.
