Family Journey
One of this tour’s fine hotels
Our goal is always to find the most interesting and memorable lodging a region offers. Here's one of our favorites from this itinerary. For a complete list, please call or email us.
Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik
Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik links two hotels of great charm, originally built in 1895. Although completely renovated in 2005, the hotel has preserved its original 19th-century Belle Epoque style, while providing the essential mixture of comfort and technology for its guests. Its lovely, spacious guest rooms are decorated in modern style with warm, light Mediterranean tones and beautiful wood and marble finishes. Rooms overlook the nearby gardens and rooftops of old Dubrovnik. The hotel also has a fine indoor pool. Located two minutes from the main gates of the walled city, the hotel is in an excellent location from which to explore Dubrovnik.

Mangia bene!
You may be surprised that much of Croatia’s native cuisine is essentially Italian. (Check the map and you’ll see why.) Even if you’ve never bought a bottle of Croatian wine, you won’t be surprised that it’s excellent. All the more so when we stop for a leisurely wine-tasting lunch with our friend Mario and his father Teo whose winery is one of our favorite destinations.
