The Bay Tree Hotel
This 16th century inn was originally built as the home for Sir Lawrence Tanfield, the Baron of Exchequer to Queen Elizabeth I. The main house has been beautifully refurbished including mellow flagstone floors, old oak beams and open log fireplaces. Each of the 21 guest rooms is individually decorated with antique furnishings.

England, and the Cotswolds in particular, has a temperate climate. In the summer during our trips, the region does not have very significant temperature extremes.
