One of this tour’s fine hotels
Our goal is always to find the most interesting and memorable lodging a region offers. Here's one of our favorites from this itinerary. For a complete list, please call or email us.

Esplendor del Calafate
Esplendor del Calafate is a boutique hotel set on a small hill overlooking Lake Argentina. The small hotel is within walking distance of the main street of town and boasts splendid views of the Andes Mountains and the lake. The hotel combines all of the modern amenities and innovative modern design while using local natural elements of Patagonia.

What the weather is like
Argentina's seasons are the reverse of the Northern Hemisphere. We have scheduled our departures to coincide with Argentina's spring and summer. We will be visiting several different regions during the tour and the weather will vary by region. In Buenos Aires, the weather is generally very nice during the summer months. The weather in Patagonia is generally pleasant during the summertime, but it can be unpredictable and change drastically at any time.
